The Opportunity

Our client, a privately-owned specialty and emergency veterinary hospital, is seeking a full-time Surgical Oncologist to expand their growing oncology program. This is a referral-driven, high-acuity practice with established surgical, anesthesia, and cardiology teams already in place, giving you the multidisciplinary support you need to deliver excellent oncologic care.

Ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained surgeon with an oncology focus who wants to build and shape a specialty service in a collaborative, privately-owned environment.

  • Advanced surgical suites with laser surgery and laparoscopic / minimally invasive surgery
  • Board-certified anesthesiology and pain management, critical for oncology patients

What We're Looking For

  • DVM with active or eligible state veterinary license
  • Board certification (ACVS) with oncology focus, or ACVIM-Oncology, or completed residency
  • Demonstrated experience in soft tissue tumor resection and reconstructive techniques
  • Comfort with multidisciplinary case management
  • Experience with laparoscopic / minimally invasive oncologic surgery a plus
  • Excellent communicator, with referring veterinarians and clients facing difficult diagnoses
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset; interest in service-line growth
